b-Caryophyllene Oxide has a sweet, woody aroma and is mainly found in lemon balm and geranium. It is the product of the oxidation of  b-caryophyllene. Furthermore, it’s the component responsible for cannabis identification by drug-sniffing dogs. It is believed to be the only terpene in cannabis that can successfully bind with CB2 receptor.
