Description
Nitric acid is used in the production of ammonium nitrate for fertilizers, making plastics, and in the manufacture of dyes. Nitric Acid is a colorless liquid with yellow or red fumes with an acrid odor. Nitric acid is a highly corrosive acid and a powerful oxidizing agent.
Warning:
May intensify fire; oxidizer.
May be corrosive to metal.
Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
Toxic if inhaled.
